The Fabrication Facilities of Velath are well equipped to undertake the most specialized of fabrication jobs in pressure vessels, process equipment and storage tanks.
A highly integrated and automated manufacturing facility ensures the seamless flow of activities that starts with plate preparation and squaring on one of the largest CNC plasma-cum-oxy plate processing machines available in the Northern Emirates, to precise roll forming in one of our five CNC controlled roll-forming machines, to high-deposition welding under our automatic SAW welding booms to surface preparation and finishing via our automatic Blasting and surface preparation facilities.
A vast array of CNC / Automatic and semi automatic welding equipment is lined up to ensure the fastest possible production time under the most stringent QC procedures possible for a vessel fabrication facility. NC-operated nozzle welding turntables ensure precise and defect-free welding of nozzles from 50 mm to 1,500 mm diameter, with single nozzle weights up to 3,000 kg.
Multiple heavy-duty welding positioners and 100 MT rotators, multiple welding booms and our advanced material movement facilities ensure the most efficient production processes and the highest productivity in fabrication.
Our Welding Department has Procedures established for an impressive metallurgy-process matrix. We regularly deploy SMAW, SAW, FCAW, GTAW & GMAW processes for standard and exotic materials ranging from Carbon & Low Alloy Steels, Duplex, Nickel & Aluminium Alloys, to Austenitic & Ferritic Stainless Steels, and Clad Materials.
Our mammoth state-of-the-art fabrication facility in Hamriyah Free Zone has close to 500,000 sq.ft. of fabrication area with over 100,000 sq.ft. of covered area. Thanks to multiple 32 MT capacity EOT cranes, we can take up vessels up to 8,000 mm in diameter and 100 meters in length. All cranes are of ISOM6 category.
The outdoor facility is equipped to fabricate equipment up to 12,000 mm in diameter and 100 meters in length. Quay and barge access from our yard are less than 700 meters. Our high-precision Hydraulic lifting equipment can facilitate easy loading of equipment weighing up to 1000 MT, thus eliminating reliance on external agencies for loading manufactured equipment on to delivery vehicles.
